What is Phoenix Network International’s Clear Callback Service?

Callback, also known as “re-origination”, is a method of phoning that allows customers to originate calls in the U.S.  We bypass the high rates charged by local telephone companies, so customers get significant savings.

No Special Equipment is needed. 

Just a touch tone telephone and International Direct Dial.

Here’s how it works:

1.   A customer dials an Access Number in the U.S., lets it ring once and hangs up.  

2.   Our system calls the customer back at the telephone number given on the service application.

3.   The customer answers the phone and is prompted by an electronic voice to dial a destination.

4.   The call is connected.

How does a Customer Pay for Service?

There are two methods of payment:

1.   Pre-payment

A customer sends a wire, a check (drawn on a U.S. bank), or a credit card to be charged.  The funds are placed on his account and can be replenished at any time.

2.   Automatic Credit Card Billing

A customer keeps a credit card on file with us and specifies a limit above which they cannot be charged.  We authorize (reserve space) the card each month in the amount of the calling limit; however, we only charge (debit) the card each month for the actual amount of usage.

How are calls rated?

To obtain the per minute rate using the rate sheet, add the rate of country you are calling from and the rate of the country you are calling to.

We offer simple, flat rate pricing.

Billing is in six second increments. (30 second minimum)

Billing occurs only if calls are connected.  We do not bill for unanswered calls!

Are there any Additional Charges?

*  There is a $5 monthly charge per account. (This fee is waived any month an account bills at least $50.00)

*  3% U.S. federal tax is charged by law because calls actually originate in the United States.

How is the customer billed?

*  A Fully itemized, monthly summary of charges is mailed to the address on the application for service.  There is no fee for mailing this.

*  An invoice faxing service is available for an additional $5 monthly fee.
